The WestSide Neighborhood Alliance (WSNA) is thrilled to invite you and your family to our first ever Cornhole Tournament and BBQ! Come out for a day of great food, friendly competition, and community fun—all while supporting a fantastic cause. It is free to attend, the Cornhole Tournament is $5 per team to enter. This will be a free event taking place the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month starting July 3rd. 6:00 - 9:00 PM Westside Neighborhood Alliance is proudly partnering with local artist, Michael Lankford, to bring "Art Night: Backstage!", a return of the creative into our local third spaces. Adults (18+), novice or experienced, are invited to come join other creatives in an evening of playful expression at the Westside Community Center. Art Night is a communal, creative experience that Michael Lankford has cultivated for several years in Salisbury. There is no competition, comparison, or expectations of one's work here. From adult coloring books to collage to modeling clay to painting and more, there is some way for everyone to join in. The goal is not a specific art or craft, but for people to come together in a unique parallel play experience with music, conversation, and creativity present. There are no rules beyond being a good neighbor to all who attend. We will be gathering in a specially prepared space backstage for this event. Light refreshments will be provided, and potluck offerings to share with all are welcome.
