From tracking melting ice and mapping forests to monitoring ocean health and measuring sea‑level rise, these satellites give us a front‑row seat to the dynamic planet we call home. In this special session, we’re thrilled to welcome Brian Campbell, a NASA Earth Science Specialist and outreach lead, who brings Earth science to life with stories, visuals, and insights from real satellite missions. Brian will guide us through how NASA uses cutting‑edge technology — lasers, sensors, and orbiting observatories — to better understand our changing world

The country's longest-running powerboat races happen right here in Dorchester County! This will be the 114th Cambridge Classic Powerboat Regatta on the Choptank River. About 60 boats are expected to be on hand to create an exciting two days of racing. Admission is FREE with a $5 a day donation for parking. Kid's Zone, food, and drinks will be available. The races happen on Hambrooks Bay off the Choptank River in Cambridge, Maryland. Watch on land on bleachers at Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh. Spectators can also watch the Cambridge Classic from their own boats on the water. The fleet will raft at Rooster Point. A no-wake zone will be established from Howell Point to the Choptank River Bridge.
