The Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company will host their 101st Annual Carnival on July 2-4, 10-11, 24-25, and 27-31, August 1, 2026 from 6pm - 10pm nightly! Food, Fun, Games, Raffles & Attractions for the Entire Family - Chincoteague Island style! A great variety of food is available for purchase including oyster and clam fritter, soft crab, crab cake, and fish sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pony fries, soft serve ice cream, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, caramel corn, and more. Rides and games for all ages. Live entertainment on the band stage. Try your luck at Bingo too. Ride tickets will be $1.50 each, 20 tickets for $25, 30 tickets for $35, 40 tickets for $45, and 50 tickets for $55 July 2- Opening night starts at 6:00pm July 4 - Fireworks at 9:00 (inclement weather date July 11th)

Enjoy two days of music at the Families of Smithville Road Music Festival July 11 and 12, 2026. At Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh in Cambridge, MD. Food and craft vendors, too. On Saturday, July 11, the live music features Melba Moore, Gerald Veasley & Karen Briggs, Gary G7 Jenkins, LG, Kentavius Jones, the Funsters, Southbound Band. Gates open at 10am. On Sunday, July 12, the focus is gospel and Christian music featuring Josh Copeland, 7 Sons of Soul, Christ Church Alive @ 5 Band, and Chenere Ramsey. Gates open at 12pm. This two-day music festival is a fundraising event by the nonprofit Families of Smithville Road in support of a children’s education nonprofit organization called the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading.

We are so excited to announce our partnership with the Chincoteague Pony Drill team. They always put on such a great show, and this will be no different. Tickets will be $20, which will include the performance and a visit to the museum exhibit inside the Beebe Ranch. We will be extending our hours that evening to accommodate and look forward to seeing everyone for the first of many great performances at the ranch. Tickets can be purchased when you arrive for the event. Please bring your own chair. Refreshments will be available for purchase .

Join the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance for a series of FREE concerts this summer at Robert Reed Waterfront Park in Chincoteague's historic downtown.
