DESCRIPTION:Now entering its 51st year\, the Chorus of Dorchester will present two free summer concerts titled “Our Country ’Tis of Thee\,” celebrating both America’s 250th anniversary and more than five decades of choral music in Dorchester County and throughout Maryland.\n\nThe concerts will feature a stirring selection of spirituals and patriotic favorites that have inspired performers and audiences alike over the Chorus’s half-century history.\n\nSaturday\, July 11\, 2026\, at 4pm Christ Episcopal Church Corner of High and Church Streets Cambridge\, Maryland\n\nSunday\, July 12\, 2026\, at 4pm Immanuel United Church of Christ 5401 White Hall Road Cambridge\, Maryland\n\nBoth performances are free and open to the public.\n\nThe Chorus of Dorchester is a 70-voice\, all-volunteer community chorus whose members range from high school students to singers who have participated since the organization’s earliest years.
