Local author Corinne Litzenberg will appear at a signing event. Litzenberg's latest novel is “Ben and the Brass Check: A Lewes Life-Saving Station Story.' Litzenberg wrote the book to honor the U.S. Life-Saving Service, especially the surfmen who rescued nearly 200 people during the unrelentingly windswept, bone-chilling three days of the Great Blizzard of 1888, the worst storm in Delaware coastal history.
