Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach. Beach Arcade will host its second annual Beach Ball Drop event, welcoming community members to join a live countdown at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 23, at its South Boardwalk location in Rehoboth Beach. The actual ball drop will commence at noon , the moment the nets release from the rooftop terrace, covering the Boardwalk in beach balls. The highlight of the drop is a massive, 6-foot America 250 commemorative beach ball that will be given away at the end of the event. Commissioned specifically for this event and valued at $300, this one-of-a-kind ball will be going home with one lucky attendee.
