In a pubilc service announcement, organizers have issued a motorist alert for the hours of 7 to 9 a.m. Drivers are urged to use caution and exercise patience as cyclists will be exiting the high school from Vikings Way onto Savannah Road to travel west toward the Lewes-Georgetown Trail. Cyclists choose from 100-, 40-, 25- and 10-mile courses. Proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth, which delivers nutritionally balanced meals to homebound seniors in Sussex County.
