About this event
For more than a century, log canoe racing has been the heartbeat of Chesapeake Bay summers — a breathtaking display of skill, teamwork, and heritage. These graceful wooden boats, steeped in Eastern Shore tradition, carry forward a legacy unlike any other on the water. Most races begin at the Tred Avon Yacht Club (membership required), and can be viewed at locations throughout Oxford. This is an outdoor event, which may be impacted by weather.
