About this event
CBMM’s Boater Safety Course teaches participants the basics needed to safely and confidently operate a vessel on Maryland waterways. Individuals and families with children 10-and-up are welcome to participate. Maryland boaters born after July 1, 1972, are required to have a Certificate of Boating Safety Education. Graduates of our Department of Natural Resources-approved course are awarded a certificate that is good for life. Led by guest instructor Ed Burke, the eight-hour boating course we offer is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators.
