DESCRIPTION:Chincoteague Island Library Hosts Monthly Writers Group Sessions The Chincoteague Island Library is excited to announce second year of the Chincoteague Island Writers Group\, now led by Melanie Orrell. Melanie is an experienced nonfiction writer and high school English teacher\, who brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the group. These sessions welcome writers of all styles and levels to share their work and receive positive feedback in a supportive community. The 1-hour group sessions will be held twice a month at the Chincoteague Island Library at 7:00 PM. The sessions are free\, and no pre-registration is required. Each session allows writers to read a piece inspired by the prompt or any recent work they wish to share. The suggested piece length is 800 words or less.
