It’s Migratory Bird Day this weekend, a great time to check out the shorebirds returning to breed on the Assateague beaches. Join a guided walk sponsored by Eastern Shore Master Naturalists, US Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service. Newcomers to birding welcome. Expect to walk about one mile. Binoculars provided. Meet at the Nature Shack just before Tom's Cove parking lot. 8 am to 10 am.
