WestSide Neighborhood Alliance is proud to welcome Dawn Manyfeathers to the West Side Community Center March 14th at 1:00 PM. This lecture is free to our residents. A member of the Lenni Lenape (Original People) tribe Dawn Manyfeathers will be presenting a talk on some of the wild edible plants native to our area. As a founder of the Lenapehauken Education and Research center she gives lectures on "The Eastern Woodland Indian Ways" and travels the country giving lectures and educational talks. Dawn has presented over 100 workshops on wild plant species, traditional crafts, and Native American way of life. She is a great resource who has a deep knowledge of Native American lifestyle and the tribes native to our area. So come down and join WSNA in welcoming her. You'll learn all about how to identify wild and edible plants in our area and anything else Dawn wishes to cover. Questions are encouraged. We hope to see you there!
