About this event
As part of the Crossroads fiber workshop series, the Museum of Eastern Shore Culture presents Indigo Dye Village: Quilt Squares 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 8. Enter the Indigo Dye Village and explore the design traditions of Adire Oniko in this hands-on indigo workshop with Kibibi Ajanku. Create bold indigo quilt squares using folding, binding, and resist-dye techniques rooted in Yoruba traditions. Discover how intentional fabric manipulation, geometry, intuition, and experimentation combine to reveal striking rhythmic patterns as dye transforms cloth.
