Allegheny Ensemble with Sachiho Murasugi, violin; and Jeffrey Schoyen, cello; Julie Nishimura, piano; Amos Lawrence, violin; and Yuri Tomenko, viola, performs Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet in G minor, op. 57, one of his most beloved and emotionally powerful works 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, in Holloway Hall's Great Hall. Also included is a Student Showcase featuring an outstanding student performer. Admisstion is free, but tickets are required.
