“The President’s Own” United States Marine Band Celebrating 250 Years National Concert Tour

The U.S. Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization. Director Lt. Col. Ryan Nowlin has programmed a mix of works including traditional band repertoire, Sousa marches, contemporary compositions, vocal and instrumental solos, and a patriotic salute to the Armed Forces. A workshop for middle and high school students is 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 3 at James M. Bennett High School (300 College Ave., Salisbury, MD).
