Date: Friday\, October 9 Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Location: Art League of Ocean City Cost: Free - registration encouraged\, but not required Creative Connections is a free monthly art club for ages 60+ where creativity\, conversation\, and community come together! Whether you’re a lifelong artist or someone who has never been to a gallery\, this welcoming group is all about discovering the joy of art in a relaxed\, supportive environment. Each session begins with an inspiring\, peer-led presentation from fellow creatives\, covering everything from art history to contemporary techniques. Then the focus shifts to connection. Enjoy open conversation\, share ideas\, and build friendships with like-minded individuals over light refreshments. Creative Connections meets the second Friday of each month from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. In This Session: AI in the Arts Dr. Mary Ann Wangemann will present AI in the Arts \, an engaging look at the growing role of artificial intelligence in the creative world. Discover how AI is being used across both creative and business applications in the arts\, as well as important considerations surrounding artists’ rights and protections. Following the presentation\, attendees are invited to take part in a group discussion exploring the pros and cons of collaborating with AI and what this evolving technology could mean for artists and the future of creativity.
