Chincoteague Cultural Alliance will host their Annual Plein Air Art Event with art ists painting on Chincoteague and Assateague Islands September 5th through September 12th. Quick Draw Contest is Thursday, September 10 at Robert Reed Waterfront Park from 12:30pm - 4pm. The event is open to all local artists (even those not participating in the Plein Air event). $5 to enter. Register in person at 12:30pm at the pavilion and paint from 1pm - 3pm in the surrounding area. Judging and sale will take place from 3pm - 4pm. Plein Air Show & Sale will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 6pm - 9pm at the Chincoteague Center, 6155 Community Drive.
