About this event
The Ballet on the Beach Dance Festival is a free outdoor professional dance performance 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 19, on Assateague Island. Co-sponsored by the SU Foundation, the event connects the community, environment, and performing arts. Audiences are invited to bring beach chairs to enjoy choreographies inspired by the natural world before sunset. Pre-performance activities run from 3:30-5 p.m. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Parking is $5. The rain date is Sunday, September 20.
