In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Museum of Eastern Shore Culture is offering one of our most popular workshops to date! Alebrijes are creatures carved from the wood of copal trees in the region of Oaxaca, Mexico, and are painted with patterns and fantastic designs from the artist’s own imagination. Participants get to elect, paint, and take home one miniature alebrije 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 24.
