Newmyer Flyer brings together the finest musicians to pay homage to iconic singer/songwriter Joni Mitchell, whose prolific repertoire was the very essence of the ‘60s folk scene. Nearly 60 years after her first performances in Canadian coffee shops and nightclubs, the legend of Mitchell’s genius continues to grow. Her melodic music and poetic lyrics made her the premier female performer of a revolutionary new generation of artists. With songs like “Both Sides, Now,” “Chelsea Morning,” “Big Yellow Taxi,” “Woodstock,” and “The Circle Game,” Mitchell has become a household name.
