Playing Minecraft Like a Mathematician

Henson Seminar Series featuring Dr. Michael Weselcouch Learn how to play Minecraft like a mathematician, using the game to “prove” theorems, approximate famous mathematical constants, and even tackle a classic physics problem. Weselcouch is an assistant professor at Roanoke College. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics at North Carolina State University, and his research is in combinatorics and sports analytics. He makes educational YouTube videos and his hobbies include running, Minecraft, table tennis, and chess.
