DESCRIPTION:Step down the rabbit hole with Church Hill Theatre’s Alice by Heart—a visually imaginative and emotionally resonant musical set during World War II that reimagines Alice in Wonderland during the London Blitz. As Alice and her friend Alfred shelter underground\, they escape into a dreamlike Wonderland where she must navigate first love\, loss\, and the power of imagination. Featuring a contemporary pop-rock score by Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and a moving story by Steven Sater and Jessie Nelson\, this one-act production is both whimsical and deeply human.

\nA fresh\, thought-provoking take on a familiar tale\, Alice by Heart blends inventive staging\, powerful performances\, and a score that lingers long after the final bow—perfect for teens and adults seeking a magical yet meaningful night at the theater.
