Washington St., Easton Located just one block away from the Talbot Historical Society, The Hill Community in Easton is one of the oldest free Black neighborhoods still in existence in the United States today, with a rich history shaped by generations of resilience, faith, and community. Led by Yvonne Freeman, this walking tour invites visitors to explore the Hill through its historic streets, hear personal stories from the neighborhood, and gain a deeper understanding of its enduring legacy.
