By focusing on the River Pilot family and other people who lived and worked on the property, the narrative offers a comprehensive view of history that includes both sides of the patriot cause. Leveraging recent renovations, the project provides authentic depictions of these various historical periods, ensuring that the stories of all those who shaped the property—and their contributions to the nation’s heritage—are accurately preserved and shared.
